The way people approach marketing is normally wrong.

I know, that’s very encouraging right? It’s just that the way it’s being approached is from a perspective called : ‘’what’s the answer here?’’ or ‘’there must be some silver bullet I haven’t found yet’’ When the reality is, that in marketing AND in sales, there is no silver bullet.

In other words, there’s no specific way that currently exists to market or sell when it comes to your business, at least, not yet. Your job is to go and find that way.

So what does all this mean?

It basically means that your job is not to try and watch every video or read every book from the most popular current business guru. Rather, your job is to form a meaningful connection with your market. So here is the best question you might read in a long time ;

Do you have the right systems in place that can capture data from your market to determine the right messages to communicate with them?

Marketing and sales is all about finding the right way to connect with your market to produce the outcome that you want, which is, more signed business. You have to know their deepest desires, and their deepest fears. What do they hate and what do they love. Its quite literally the only way you can create messages that mean something to them. And you have to structure it in a way that will bring about positive response.

The best definition of intelligence I have ever found is this ; It’s your ability to approach a problem , and generate feedback from your approach to determine what the best course of action to take is to get the outcome that you want to create. Let’s create the right systems to generate and capture feedback. Let’s create the right systems to use this feedback in a meaningful way. Then, let’s speak to our audience so they will be motivated to change.

One of the best lessons I ever learned on sales is this;

People move emotionally before they move any other way. If there is no pain, there will surely be no motivation to change.
